A few weeks ago my son Zack came home VERY excited about a project he had to do for class. His grade was having a bartering fair and each kid had to bring handmade items, create an advertising poster and barter!!! We made crayons. I got all types of molds (a set of 12 for only $5.00 on sale at the craft store) we recycled the crayons we had at home and purchased a few new boxes of new crayons to use. It was easy and so much fun! He designed his “Crayons of the Future” poster(see first photo) and his crayons were a hit! I was inspired to hear about the items other kids made which included hand folded paper airplanes and spin art. What a great way to teach kids the value of items and how things were done in the past and even today..many shop owners on etsy, including myself ,see the value and benefits of a good trade..my skill for your skill!
HAPPY TUESDAY ALL!!
SIDE NOTE: KIDS SHOULD NEVER HANDLE MELTED CRAYONS
